Rev. Katherine

email Rev. Katherine

"Rev. Katherine," as the children and young people call her, has been serving Moorefield Church and its chapels since June of 2004. Prior to coming to Moorefield Rev. Katherine served churches in Southside and Southwest VA.

She is a graduate of Union Seminary in Richmond where she received her Doctor of Ministry degree.

Rev. Katherine is a native of Memphis, TN.   Her husband, Scott, and son, John Scott are actively involved in the church and when not in church can be found camping with the Boy Scouts or re-enacting with the Civil War buffs. Rev. Katherine does not join them; but prefers to stay home and watch re-runs of "Law & Order." She is not a grandmother, yet; though her daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Frank Vaught, have begun to "talk about" the possibility of children.
